We felt so welcome on arrival, the management and staff are super friendly, taking the time to chat, very attentive. Fabulous food, I had the Tuscan Chicken, beautifully presented, really enjoyed it, yum! Great clean pub with history and charm, excellent attention to detail. Best wishes for continued success. Does exactly what it sets out to do: great pub food, warm welcome, cosy atmosphere. Husband declared his steak really delicious. Sea Bass came with a fantastic optional sauce and really lovely selection of roasted veggies. Coffee ice cream best I have tasted! Will return

What a joy to walk into such a happy, atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble even though it was clearly very busy. Everything was accompanied with a smile or a grin. Superb Sunday lunch and I might add a pretty mean Bloody Mary to start. Delicious beef and a hearty portion needing a doggie box to take home. Excellent roast chicken and fish & chips. A really good time was had by all. What a transformation from a few years ago. We are so lucky having a number of great independant pubs close bt. Well done folks. We shall be back that is for sure.

We visited for a special birthday and the birthday girl was immediately offered a free drink. Service was superb and the food was excellent. We had a great meal.
